* NOTE: The Repaired Edition is an exact copy (mirror) of the Government Printing Office website for officially published tax regulations. However, this copy of Title 26, Code of Federal Regulations is complete. You can ask the GPO to fix Title 26, which they make available to the public on the US Government Printing Office website http://www.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/cfrassemble.cgi?title=200426 because the officially published government copy is incomplete. All the official online tax regulations are incomplete, with broken links and missing files for every year they make available. With the Repaired Edition we have restored all missing files in current regulations with files from the next year available. The same repair method is utilized by the GPO, but obviously less completely.

HOW TO SEARCH:
Browse the CFR as usual by clicking the sections below. But, to search regulations, it is most efficient to look within the folder on your computer. How? Download 26 CFR - the Repaired Edition >> open folder called CFR-MainFolder >> click Search >> inside the 'Containing Text' box place your subject, or string of code, such as - taxable income, excluded income, how to determine tax, etc.
